Terms & Conditions.

Women World (“Women World”, “we”) is a community from and for women. Through this website we offer:

• Events & retreats— gatherings from and for women, such as retreats, dinners and salons (see Section 2).
• Membership— access to our community programme and online sessions (see Section 3).

These GTC apply to all bookings and contracts concluded via the Women World website. By registering for an event, entering a membership and/or using this website, you agree to these GTC.

2.1 General.When you register for an event organised by Women World, a contract is concluded between you and Women World and you confirm your participation. Special provisions apply to our (international) retreats, which may take place abroad and over several days; such provisions refer explicitly to “retreat”.

2.2 Coaches’ events & retreats.Women World also provides a platform to promote independent coaches and their events/retreats. We are not the organiser of these events and are not responsible for their execution, quality or the safety of participants. The coaches are independent professionals, solely responsible for organising and delivering their services. Please review the specific policies of each coach and event before registering. Participants are responsible for their own insurance. Women World assumes no liability for any claims, damages, injuries, accidents or losses arising from participation in a coach’s event or retreat.

2.3 Payment. You are obliged to pay the full amount for an event when booking, using the specified payment method.

2.4 Cancellation policy. To keep our events intimate we keep groups small (usually max. twelve participants), so every place matters. Please make sure you can attend before booking.

2.4.1 If you must cancel:

• A cancellation must be notified in writing to info@wearewomenworld.com.
• For retreats, a cancellation with partial refund is possible depending on when we receive your notice: more than 6 weeks (42 days) before the start — a CHF 250 cancellation fee; between 6 weeks (42 days) and 2 weeks (14 days) before the start — a CHF 500 cancellation fee; within 2 weeks (14 days) before the start — no refund. The starting day itself is not counted.
• For other events, no refund can be granted in the case of a cancellation.
• We are not liable for expenses you incur in preparation for an event, such as flights, train tickets, visa fees or similar costs.

2.4.2 If we must cancel:

• If we cannot host an event, we will notify you in a timely manner and you receive a 100% refund.
• We reserve the right to cancel a retreat if a minimum of five participants is not reached.
• We are not liable for your preparation expenses (flights, visas, etc.) in the event of a cancellation from our side.

2.4.3 Force majeure. Because of non-recoverable payments we must make in advance to secure an event, exceptions to this cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason — including natural disasters, weather, acts of terrorism, illness, pandemics, medical, personal, family or work emergencies, or a change of mind. If you cannot reach a retreat due to circumstances such as strikes, weather, or missed, delayed or cancelled flights, the retreat fees remain non-refundable. Arriving late or leaving early does not entitle you to a refund of the remaining time.

2.4.4 Refund. Once we have received your cancellation, we refund any applicable amount within fourteen (14) days, using the same means of payment you used originally unless otherwise agreed.

2.5 Exclusion of liability. Participation in our events is at your own risk at all times. You are responsible for assessing whether you meet the prerequisites (e.g. physical and mental health) to participate. Women World cannot be held liable for harmful incidents unless caused by our deliberate or grossly negligent breach of duty, and never for harm caused by a third party.

2.6 Travel & health insurance. Our retreats can take place abroad. In such cases every participant is required to hold international health insurance that also covers medical care and, if needed, transport home, valid at least for the duration of the retreat.

2.7 Health & official regulations. Your health matters to us. Should the Swiss federal or cantonal authorities enact regulations that apply to us as an event organiser (e.g. distancing rules), you are obliged to comply with them.

2.8 Photography & intellectual property. By participating you agree that photos/videos in which you are identifiable may be taken by Women World and published on our website and social media for marketing purposes. Our events are meant to invest in your personal life, not for commercial content creation, work or promotion of your own products or services. Professional cameras are not permitted during events. Please respect the privacy of other guests — do not photograph or film other participants, or share images in which they are recognisable, without their consent.

2.9 Our rights. Women World reserves the right to remove a participant whose behaviour is disruptive; to hold a participant liable for damage they cause to the venue or to the belongings of third parties or Women World; and to change the programme, teachers or team members at any time.

3.1 General. A membership gives you access to our community programme and online sessions for the term you select. When you sign up, a contract is concluded between you and Women World.

3.2 Billing & term. Memberships are billed in advance for the chosen period (e.g. monthly or annually) via our payment provider. Unless stated otherwise, a membership renews automatically for the same period until cancelled.

3.3 Cancellation. You may cancel your membership at any time with effect from the end of the current paid period; access continues until then. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded on a pro-rata basis.

3.4 Content. Membership content is for your personal use only and may not be shared, resold or reproduced. We may adjust or update the programme over time.

All liability and warranty of Women World in connection with the use of this website is declined, in particular regarding the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of content, the downloading and use of files, and links to external sites.

The copyright and all other rights to the content, images, photos and files on this website belong exclusively to Women World or the named rights holders. Any reproduction requires the prior written consent of the rights holder.

The legal relationship between Women World and you is governed by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (SR 0.221.211.1). All disputes arising in connection with these GTC shall be decided exclusively by the competent courts of Zürich, Switzerland.

Women World reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The version valid at the time of your booking applies.
